Project Update: Enhancing Data Centre Efficiency for a South Wales Council.

We are excited to share the latest development in our ongoing project with a local South Wales Council. Our team is dedicated to ensuring the council’s data centre operates at peak efficiency, and we are making significant strides in achieving this goal.

Scope of the project:

Our project involves the supply and installation of four cutting-edge Panasonic ducted systems that will serve as the backbone of the data centres climate control. Each of these systems is designed to optimise air circulation and maintain a stable temperature environment.

Key components to our project include:

• Equipment Decommissioning: As part of our commitment to sustainability, we have also decommissioned and removed two outdated Denco close control units from the old print room. This not only ensures a more energy-efficient setup but also reflects our dedication to responsible environmental practices.
• Air distribution: We will install a 10- meter air sock for each air conditioning system, ensuring that the cooled air is evenly distributed throughout the data centre. This guarantees a consistent and reliable cooling process.
• Refrigerant expertise: Our team will meticulously handle all necessary refrigeration pipework and accessories. This ensures that the systems operate efficiently and reliably, even under heavy loads.
• Quality Assurance: We will conduct a rigorous pressure test, followed by vacuuming and recharging the systems with refrigerant. This meticulous process guarantees the systems’ performance and longevity.
• Commissioning: Our experts will commission the system to ensure they are in perfect working order. We take pride in delivery systems that meet the highest standards of reliability and efficiency.
