NICEIC Accreditation
Riverside are proud to announce that they have now been granted full accreditations as an NICEIC Approved Installer, Domestic Installer & enrolled in the Government Endorsed Trust Mark Scheme.
This registration demonstrates to our customers, clients & specifiers that we as a company have the drive and commitment to achieve the high standards of skills and professionalism required by the NICEIC.
This now means that we can offer a variety of services to all our new and existing clients, we can now offer certification for the following different aspects of the electrical industry:
- Electrical Installation
- Electrical Installation Condition Reports (this is the replacment for the Periodic Inspection Report)
- Fire Alarm Certification
- Emergency Lighting Certification
- Minor Works Certificates
- Domestic Certificates
Riverside Awarded ISO 9001:2008
We are delighted to have been awarded this internationally-recognised symbol of quality following an extensive 3 day audit in January 2012.
The ISO 9001:2008 quality management system is the world’s largest quality framework and used by over three-quarters of a million organisations in 161 countries to monitor and continually improve their operation and management.
ISO 9001:2008 provides existing and potential customers with the reassurance that they are dealing with a company which has placed itself under independent scrutiny, been eternally audited and confirmed by BSI British Standards as having in place robust polices and procedures which enable the delivery of consistently high standards of service and product. Our customers will benefit from the fact that we constantly evaluate our processes and systems to ensure that those standards are maintained and further improved.
CHAS Accreditation
We are pleased to announce that Riverside has gained accreditation to CHAS (the Contractor’s Health and Safety Assessment Scheme) following an extensive audit of our integrated Health and Safety management systems.
CHAS is the market leader for health and safety pre-qualification in the UK and is welcomed by organisations that are responsible for purchasing services from contractors, such as councils, housing associations, NHS trusts, including a growing number of large private companies.
In total more than 400 public and private sector buyer organisations, use CHAS as a way of selecting their suppliers and identifying competent contractors.
New Starter
It is our pleasure to announce that Paul Stroud will be joining the team at Riverside. He is the first of several appointments to facilitate the further development of our M & E division based out of our Head Office in Bridgend. Paul has extensive industry experience and has worked with most, if not all, of the leading consultants and contractors in Wales.
He is joining us at a very exciting time and all of us at Riverside are looking forward to working with him.
Riverside Awarded Health & Safety Accreditation
In order to be awarded the SAFEContractor accreditation, we’ve undergone an in-depth vetting process whereby our health and safety policies and procedures and track record for safe practice has been examined.
Only companies meeting the highest standards are awarded the SAFEContractor accreditation and we’re pleased to be affiliated with such a scheme.

After stringent auditing we are pleased to have been awarded the prestigious status as a TATA STEEL (UK) Ltd approved HSS 10 Compliant Contractor. This further demonstrates our commitment to health and safety, thus ensuring an ongoing involvement with Europe’s largest steelmaker.

His was the lucky business card that was pulled out of the hat. We look forward to him coming to our office next week to collect his prize. Well done Jamie! Commiserations to those of you who’s cards weren’t selected, but you know where we are should you need any Air Conditioning units, for hire or installation.
