We’re excited to announce that Riverside are sponsoring The Vale of Glamorgan Agricultural Show 2025 – British Showjumping event this month.
The Agricultural Show is one of the largest events in the Vale of Glamorgan, attracting over 20,000 people from across South Wales. Taking place on Wednesday 13th August 2025 at Penllyn Castle Park, The day features over 200 trade stands.
Offering a range of events and activities, including a dog show, cattle and sheep classes, a large craft fair, a horticultural show and a home produce and countryside marquee, for the whole family to enjoy. As well as a large food court and outdoor shopping mall to support and showcase Welsh businesses.
Riverside is proud to be sponsoring The British Showjumping event in the main ring from 8.30am until 3:00pm, which includes Senior Discovery and 1m Open and to 1.40m Open, plus Horse Of The Year Grade C Championship Qualifier.
We caught up with Louise Edwards, Secretary of The Vale of Glamorgan Agricultural Show:
“Show jumping at the Vale of Glamorgan Agricultural Show on Wednesday 13thAugust will see national riders competing for top prizes, which include a ‘Horse of the Year Show Qualifier’. Competitors will be coming from across the UK to compete in the show jumping classes, including Wales’s number one and international show jumper, Vale of Glamorgan-born Mark Edwards, who will be competing in the 1.40m Open and throughout the day with many horses. Thanks to our generous sponsors, this year’s show will be very exciting and is not to be missed at Penllyn Castle Park. The show jumping ring can be viewed by all and will absorb the amazing atmosphere of the great show.”
